Frankie Cosmos has announced Covers, a limited edition tape featuring her versions of songs by Porches’ Aaron Maine, Krill, and others. The tape will be released on November 13 via Bayonet Records. Stream “Fresh Pond,” originally by Krill, and check out the album art and tracklist below. Greta Kline said of the album:
Whenever I’m really excited about a song I want to learn it, and it becomes the first thing I play every time I pick up an instrument. These are all songs by people I know and have seen perform a lot and have been inspired by. I recorded these covers last winter in my bedroom.
Frankie Cosmos’ most recent album, Next Thing, was released earlier this year.
